Seska Lee is a Canadian content creator, performer, writer, and sex work advocate with over 25 years of experience in digital media and online entertainment. An XBIZ Creator Award nominated cam performer and industry pioneer, she writes and speaks on destigmatization, decriminalization, and sex workers’ rights in Canada, and has been featured in publications, on stage, and in media including HBO and CBC Radio.

Origins
Seska Lee holds BAs in Psychology and Child Studies from Concordia University, where she worked as an educational consultant specializing in learning disabilities. In 1998 she made a significant pivot, launching an independent adult website — one of the earliest of its kind — and began documenting her intimate life through photos, videos, live camming, and written journals. That work quickly expanded beyond personal documentation into activism, exploring eroticism, nonmonogamous relationships, body image, and feminism. It led to published essays, speaking engagements, and media appearances that established her as a distinct and serious voice in conversations about sexuality and women’s autonomy.
Performance & Production
Alongside her online work, Seska built a substantial career in the neoburlesque world. In 2003 she co-founded the troupe The Coral Lees, later founding Team Burlesque, and from 2012 to 2015 co-produced, hosted, and performed in the live band burlesque revue Acme Burlesque. She has performed at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, Café Cleo, Club Soda, Lee’s Palace, MainLine Theatre, and The Wiggle Room, appeared multiple times with the acclaimed Scandelles, and performed at the Montreal Burlesque Festival and the Grand Burlesque Show.
Writing & Speaking
Seska’s essays have been published in Broken Pencil and in Naked Ambition: Women Who Are Changing Pornography. She has spoken at SXSW, Concordia University, McGill University, Sexual Attitude Reassessment Seminars, and various adult industry conferences. Her media appearances include HBO’s Real Sex Xtra: Pornocopia — Going Down in the Valley: Women on Top and Josey Vogel’s Between You and Me on CBC Radio 1.
2010–2019
In 2010 Seska stepped back from adult content creation to focus on personal development and holistic well-being, writing on nutrition, wellness, and mindful living while continuing her work as a burlesque performer and educator.
Today
In 2020 she returned to adult content creation, this time centring her identity as a mature woman and bringing her full breadth of experience to the work. She is currently an active cam performer on Streamate and Jerkmate, producing and distributing self-created content across multiple fan sites and clip store platforms. Her advocacy work focuses on destigmatization, decriminalization, and the impact of legislation — particularly from a Canadian policy perspective — on sex workers’ lives and safety.
